Location

From Christchurch International Airport take State Highway 1 heading south. When you see the big fish at Rakaia, turn right and follow the signs to Mt Somers and Staveley. Follow Thompson's Track for about 30 mins until you see the turn off on your right to Staveley. Alternatively, take the West Coast Rd and turn off down the Inland Scenic Route 72 at Darfield. This is a stunning drive and if you stay on the Inland Route, you will drive straight to Staveley. Look out for the Staveley Store (the one with the great coffee!) Our place has a boundary on this road, just opposite the store and the entrance is signposted. If you are coming from the south, follow the signs to Fairlie - Geraldine - Mt Somers and again you will arrive at Staveley via Inland Scenic Route 72.
